I agree with you totally. It needs to be more than just a piece of paper.

No! Cause they'll come up with something that'll be just one more piece of crap to carry around. And everywhere you just rattle off the number today will require some fancy pants reader type technology...

at a minimum - it should be like an ATM card, a numbered card plus a PIN number.

he goes onto the john gambling show every friday, and gambling asks him alot of broad questions about the hot topics of the day - and he gives his opinion.

My opinion -- Bloomberg is the second luckiest man ever to walk the earth -- Ringo Starr, of course, being the absolute luckiest. The guy waltzed into City Hall with a semi-booming economy, low crime etc. etc.

Once he hits a speed bump, then he'll quiet down.

"advocating a plan that would establish a DNA or fingerprint database to track and verify all legal U.S. workers."

Do all the Mayors and politicians first then we'll talk.

we'll get you a tax credit for a larger wallet purchase.

we could always implant an RFID chip into you, so be thankful you just need the bigger wallet.

"the biometric aside - we need a better social security card in this country. one with at least some minimal security behind it. the current social security card is a joke."

I agree with you totally. It needs to be more than just a piece of paper.

Maybe the government could just tattoo the numbers on your wrist.

I could agree with you and just as easily disagree with you on this issue. So, that's a pretty good indicator that I don't know. Rack that one up in your "win" category

My ideal would be a single card that acts as a storage device -- dry cleaning receipts, subway, movie tickets, ATM, credit card, etc. etc.

I can't get a bigger wallet, it already looks like I've got three butt cheeks.

I'm a 53 year old physician, born and raised in the United States. I served 8 years on active duty in the Navy as a doctor. I have been involved in a 300 physician multispeciatly clinic for 20 years now. This year I was asked to provide proof that I was an American citizen. I did so with a passport.

I'm not an illegal. I don't need to be hassled. Our government has made no attempts to secure the border. Yet I am asked to provide proof that I belong here.

This is just one more attempt to harrass the legals in an attempt to pretend that the government is doing something. Thanks but no thanks.
