Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
No problem, onyx....I was cooking during most of it anyway...AND, I should have known to come here....my fault.
so glad the Speaker and VPOTUS go thte memo about the gold tie.
No, like I just said...I SHOULD have known to come here.
Last night, I wasn't on FR very much, my granddaugther was sick...so I read to her, and let her watch cartoons...and just held her.
So, I didn't make it to the DOSE..but, it was NO ONES fault but my own.
At least I got to see it...and enjoyed it very much while cooking part of the time.
With all of these pictures of the both of them...for some reason it brought back memories of the time they met on that island with Spain's Prime Minister Aznar...was John Howard there also?
Anyway..that was such an important time...but, I just remember the pictures of all of those wonderfully handsome heads of state, all lined up for the press conferences.
Lol! Thanks...I love those :)
All of these arguments about politics is just what our enemies want, and these arguments are so trivial compared to what our men and women in uniform are facing everyday.
I just want to say "Thank You" both for the sacrifices you the both of you made as Mike and Eric were off doing the real fighting, and of course I want to say "Thank You" Mike and Eric for their service, and mystery-ak, another Thank You to your Son who is serving us all now
May God bless and protect out men and women in uniform. This country is blessed beyond words to have such Patriots as you and your families
Mike
You know, foreign policy, for awhile, just basically said, if it seems okay on the surface, just let it be. And guess what happened? There was resentment and hatred that enabled these totalitarians to recruit and to kill, which they want to continue to do to achieve their objectives. And the best way to defeat them in the long run is through the spread of liberty.
And liberty has had the capacity to change enemies to allies. Liberty has had the capacity to help Europe become whole, free, and at peace. History has proven that freedom has got the capacity to change the world for the better, and that's what you're seeing.
You know, the amazing thing about dealing with Prime Minister Blair is never once has he said to me on the phone, we better change our tactics because of the political opinion polls. And I appreciate that steadfast leadership. And I appreciate somebody who has got a vision, a shared vision, for how to not only protect ourselves in the war on terror, but how to make the world a better place
The vision of this President will be talked and written about for generations to come
Thanks for having the live thread on the press conference. Of course I was at work and missed it but reading the comments and seeing the pictures is a pretty good deal.
Ref. Post #164....
After listening to the Bush/Blair presser again, I heard Bush debunk this. The press still ran with it, like always, making it up as they go. Apparently, Jayson Blair has found employment again.
With all those toasters you've gotten thus far, you'll be able to toast the whole loaf! Congratulations onyx!
Actually i believe she was just blinking .
What i cannot understand , why is the media taking pictures in such unflattering ways.
Thank you.
