No matter how they try, no one can explain 4 dimensions in a way that I can understand. The loaf of bread metaphor doesn't cut it (har har).

It won't work out because time is already an illusion in reality and a convenience in the mechanics formulas.

In terms of upsetting the apple cart, this would really be shattering in some ways. It would be like the explosion of insight achieved when Relativity showed it explained things Newtonian physics couldn't touch.

The fourth dimension is the one next to the bottom. Next question....

Fascinating. I wish I had the math background to understand this better.

The "braneworld universe" has five dimensions -- four spatial dimensions plus time -- compared with the four dimensions -- three spatial, plus time -- laid out in the General Theory of Relativity. I was just thinking about that this morning

I listed to Chuck Misler try to explain four dimensions once and my head nearly exploded.
Supposedly it's height, width, depth, and breadth, but darned if I can explain it. I'll just have to take his word for it.

At least there is a proposal to test/detect proof for the theory.
But manipulating/controlling gravity should be the ultimate aim.

No, it boggles my wallet. The hapless taxpayer is paying for all of these brain farts let go by the wunderkind of academia. The funny thing is they always place the proof of their grant-sucking theories far enough ahead in time that they will never be held accountable for the silent fizzle it makes when it dissipates into nothingness.
