"The Senate will never let it through."
And that's new how?
Important thing hers is to bring it t a vote and make the RATS filibuster ANWR driling in an election ear, at a time of very high gas prices.
I like it.

The Senate will never let it through. If W had any nads at all, now would be the time for him to sign an EO that implements the will of the house and opens the damned wasteland up for drilling. Clinton did this to close oil, gas and coal fields, W can do it to open them up.

Don't be toooo sure the Senate won't pass it. The talk is about oil dependency with FOREIGN nations who really don't like us....And the Unions were pi**** about not drilling.
2000 acres is nothing. Why should Alaska be denied reasonable use of its assets?
Environmentalists think nothing should change in an everchanging world. WHACKOS!!
