"OK...for about the 10th time. How do we get it through the Senate?"

Bring it to the vote in the Senate, let the RATS filibuster it like they did last time, and let them explain that to voters come November...at a time of near record high gas prices. Maybe they don't have the ability to filibuster anymore after voters are through with them.
I like it!

It's the latest attempt to get the drills going.... I don't know if even $5 a gallon gas will get this thru the Senate.

"THE"? You imply that there's a Senate RINO that doesn't double as a media whore, but that is part and parcel of the RINO idiom; they only differ in degree.

But many Democrats and environmentalists argue there is not enough oil to justify destroying the habitat for ANWR's polar bears, caribou and other wildlife.

Re; ANWR Senate Passage

FYI -- In the last session of Congress it DID pass in the Senate but surprisingly did NOT pass in the House - for the 1st time. And yes due to wimpy RINOs worried about the stoo-pid Caribou.

Ergo if Leader Frist can keep the RINOs in line again - and with his patented strong leadership that should be easy -- it should pass again in the Senate.

you know I'm kidding about Frist, right?

I thought the Senate passed it last time with a very narrow margin and the House did not pass it. Now if the Senate vote is still there for passage then we go to ANWR :)

I think we should go back to letting the State legislators vote for our US Senators. Why did we ever switch?

Wonder if the House and Senate will do a trade on ANWR and the immigration bill...?

Hmmmmm. Good thinking, JA...
