Judith Regan, chief executive officer of publisher Regan Books, said the memoir is the most candid she has ever come across. Yet, strangely, he left out all of the parts about his criminal behavior. It's a ploy, but it's one that appears to be working, as he enlists all possible help from the perversion-friendly media and publishing industries. The only reason why he goes into such lurid and prurient detail about his debauchery is because he wants to sell books while escaping scrutiny and punishment for his crimes and corruption. It's a classic strategy of diversion, feint, sleight-of-hand...

Also- if someone that donates blood opts out so that their blood is not used for transfusion, is the blood used for anything at all? Or is it discarded? If I recall the schpiel correctly, the blood would be tested for diseases and discarded. The donor would be informed of any positive results on these tests.

Still a cop out...Why expose the the blood workers to the risk of accidental needle stick or risk the blood supply in case it is mishandled?
This guy should be disgraced, not lauded as some kind of martyr.

McG endangered the welfare of his state by appointing his gay boy toy as liaison to Homeland Security. The guy was not a citizen and could not get clearance.

It's a classic strategy of diversion, feint, sleight-of-hand... About two months before McGreevey's announcement, as the corruption investigation was closing in, I predicted on these pages that McGreevey would simply stop denying the homosexuality rumors and any questions about bribery and ethical lapses would be lost in the ensuing firestorm.
Boy did I call that one right!

Well, with a Nathan's there, I'm sure McGreevey stopped in when he was hankering for a wiener.
To: jebeier
Sorry for the lack of clarity on my part. No problem. The burden is mine. I just wanted to be sure I understood what you were saying. Thank you for clearing that up.

When whippoorwills call and evening is nigh
We'll hurry to our Blue Heaven
A turn to the right, a little bright light
Will lead you to our Blue Heaven
You'll find a coffee place, a fireplace, a cozy room
A little nest that nestles where the roses bloom
Just Marky and me and the seaman makes three
We'll be happy in our Blue Heaven

Judith Regan, chief executive officer of publisher Regan Books, said the memoir is the most candid she has ever come across. And in a similar, though cryptic comment, mcgreevy boasted that his former boy toy Golan Cipel's annals were the most candied that he's ever come across.

Indeed ... that must be part of the schooling fish mentality that is part of our age old genetic makeup.
We were descended from fish, right? Or was that monkeys?
I get so confoosed. ;)

Whatever Mr McGreevey's genetic makeup or his childhood, he has chosen a path for his life and must live with the consequences.
