Add a provision that says that if they are caught here without the visa by a certain date that all their assets are forfeit and they are permanently barred from entry to the U.S. and citizenship and I'm on board.

How about asset forfeiture to local law enforcement? That would sure end all this "sanctuary city" nonsense. Especially out here in California, when it comes to revenue, the state is rapacious.

Me, too. I'm all for being compassionate, but being compassionate doesn't mean that we have to be stupid. Just saying "y'all c'mon in" and letting them stretch resources to the breaking point will bring this country to the point where we can't take care of ourselves or anyone else.
