-Individual Rights, though many here on FR think many Americans on the Left don't believe in Individual rights, most American liberals believe in a perverted form of this
-Respect for the rule of law
-Government's intent is to serve and protect the people
-Devotion to one wife and family
-Tolerance, without surrendering your livelihood
And Im sure Im forgetting a bunch

And of course remember, the reason why are country is looking sour as is it without considering the Illegal immigration issue is that many people in the West are forgetting why we value these things, we are forgetting our history, and the mistakes we already made that taught us these lessons

I don't see where any of those individual bullet items you posted is not part of any Hispanic, or Indian, or Chinese family and life.

Assimilation also means allowing other cultures to preserve some of their unique heritage and bring that to the American experience.

Texas has been enriched, I believe, by the Hispanic culture and food and music and family experiences.
