You don't get it, do you. The claim of Christianity, which has driven the development of mankind for two thousand years, is that the Creator of heaven and earth made himself known to Abraham, to Moses and in the course of time, made himself known as the man Jesus. Both the book and the movie make light of that claim. It says a lot about the demise of Christianiity in the West that they dare to do so. It says something else that they would not dare make a "major motion picture" based on a book that likewise mocks Islam.
I get it 100% I believe in artistic freedom whether it's this dumb movie or Mohammad cartoons. I'm a person of faith, myself, and my faith isn't threatened in the least by the film.
