That's a good looker.
My favorite picture. Can we get this kid in the Air Force?
Great pictures! Thanks!
Chino ! Hometown of Diana Taurasi ! Yes !
Wish I could have been an aerial gunner!
Me too! That .50 cal. "Ma Duce" looks great.
Any help with the HTML would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
I have noticed that links do not hyperlink in the original articles. I do not know how to make them do it. So, I put links in the comments sections and they do hyperlink.
As for photos, type this exactly
< img src="http://mysite.verizon.net/res1x72x/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/chino_air_show_2006007.jpg.w560h420.jpg" >
Then remove the space between the (<) and the (img).
It should post the picture when you press preview.
Or try this link for better advice.

Ach. The art on these planes beckon back to a time when men could be men without concern of being forced into attending government re-education programs for "cultural and feminist sensitivities."
If our fighting men of today had art like that on their crafts, the feminists and jihadists would scream bloody murder.
My fav.
Is "Mrs. Virginia" a P-51C? Pretty rare. Most of the Mustangs you see on the air show circuit are P-51Ds.
Thank you and all other contributors for the thread and the great pics.
Good photography.

And from now on, whenever you want to post a photo, just put the photos internet address ("URL") in between the quotation marks in the text above that you copied (delete the URL "http://blahblahblah" and put the new one in its place) Try that and do a search on FR for "sandbox"
"Mrs Virginia" is actually either a P-51A or A-36, both very rare these days. The carb airscoop is on top of the engine cowling, indicating an Allison engine installation. P-51B/Cs were Merlin powered and the airscoops were below the prop spinner. P-51Bs were California built and Cs were Dallas built if I'm not mistaken, otherwise they were about identical.
Shhhhhhhhhh. The NSA is listening. Re: post 8(not yours), wasn't there also a flap in Gulf War I about painting kills on aircraft, and then the handwritten messages on bombs in Iraqi Freedom?
