Or would you trivialize the fact that it was the Jews that crucified Jesus, stoned Stephen to death, crucified Peter upside down, and assisted the Romans in persecuting St. Paul (who was later sawed in half!) and beheading John the Baptist? Nothing against them, but the Jews are not the saints you make them out to be. Every group has their dark moments in history.
