Maybe won't don't need a fence after all. Maybe we should have voluntary deportation with a carrot. Bush loves to hand out money. Just increase the national debt so we can pay illegals to go back to there own country after all it's just economic. Future enforcement would be handled by border patrol officers just giving potential illegals cash right at the border.

, so why can't they just enforce the law and punish those who break it?Because it is an election year, and they have reasoned that the American people don't care. We really need to show them that we do.

I'm 51 and I would take a lump sum payment of my Social Security Benefits and run. I'm 43 and have been willing to for go SS since 23 as long as I would never have to pay in again.

I don't think there is such a thing as the Congressional Pension Fund. The hororables are able to vote themselves lifetime payments out of the general accounts of the US and be certain their successors will continue the raid.

i've said it once, i'll say it again: "what's the difference between a democrat and a republican?" Leadership wise simply this. One party is very upfront about being Liberals who want to sell us out. They make no pretense otherwise. The only thing to their credit IMO. We call them Democrats. The other party uses scare tactics about the DEM Liberals to get themselves reelected, calls itself conservative, votes Liberal, and purposefully lies to and misleads the voters before selling us out. We call them Republicans.
Somewhere in between the two are leaders who have the nations best interest at heart. Even though they dwell within the ranks of both parties and outside the two party system they are hated by both DEM's and Republicans alike. They are a threat to the shared Socialist agenda now being touted by the two major parties.

I wanted to send this article and some commentary to my Congresscritter, then I remembered: I am represented by "the honourable Harold Ford, Jr." No hope that I can sway his opinion. I'm not his sort of person.

I can't figure out TN's senators (Alexander, Frist). Voted FOR the amnesty yesterday, but AGAINST this. Covering their tracks?
BTW, isn't Junior posing as a border hawk, like all otehr things conservative?

SS is doomed, illegals or no illegals, so the outcome of this vote doesn't matter.

I think they've lost their minds. November is shaping up to be a bloodbath.

I hate to mention this but can we sue the nitwits? They do not even contribute to the Social Security system and they
want illegal criminals to have it? There must be a way to stick these spoiled out of touch fops with some consequences. Waiting for an election will not work. There must to be away to make them accountable.
To: riskybiz
Don't these CongressCreeps think? Don't the old guard know they are living in a time when people ask these questions and spread them around via email and blogs? They're still operating like we're ignorant and isolated and we can't figure out that what they're doing makes no sense and is counter to arguments they've made in the past.

Apparently these new voters coming on-line have more clout than existing citizens. Bingo.
