This article is just a lazy, sloppy job of writing. It's the same old rehash of garbage spewed by the haters and union hacks every week.
I know it is hard to believe but NO ONE IS FORCED TO WORK THERE OR SHOP THERE. Shocking as that is, they seem to be shopping there in big numbers and applying for jobs there in record numbers.

WalMart ping!

For a change here is a WalMart thread posted AFTER I have actually been in WalMart today. A friend and I went there this morning after taking our 7 year olds to school. What a lovely experience and that is an unusual comment coming from me because I hate shopping. But we needed stuff because our girls are going camping with their Girl Scout Brownie Troop this weekend. We got everything we needed in one place, for less than $30 and EVERYTHING we purchased is made right here in the U S of A.

I am a little late to the article, but here it goes.

You are absolutely correct.Nobody held a gun to my head 7 years ago when I applied at WAL~MART and started working there.

I started work there because it is two blocks from my house and they could give me the hours I wanted at the time.

I am happy that WAL~MART gave me a chance and that I have the opportunity to move up within the Company.

That is why people apply there.
