Yep, Cantwell "won" by something like 3500 votes where the Libertarian candidate got some tens of thousand of votes (total votes counted was several million, IIRC). The Libertarian party elected Maria Cantwell.

But then, that was before we found out how crooked King COunty is and that those 3500 votes (and then some) were likely fraudulent.....Gorton was robbed, but he's such a "let's all get along" RINO, he never made an issue of it.
