See ya.
And you're proud of that, aren't you?
Due to the wording of your post, I unfortunately took it at face value and replied to that which was not your intent. I'm glad that this has now all been cleared up. And kudos to you, for not attempting to reply to my question, because you feel, unqualified to do so. It was a far too broad question, I now realize, and one which I doubt anyone here would be qualified to answer.
TODAY - WASHINGTON - The House rejected an attempt Thursday to lift a quarter-century congressional ban on offshore oil drilling in coastal waters outside the western Gulf of Mexico amid arguments that new supplies are needed to lower energy prices.
Good to know the "conservative" House is watching out for us.
LOL, LOL, LOL
And what do you want to bet that Fox and Friends won't cover this in the morning?
That show will consist of 50% immigration inflamation, and 50% "People magazine" type of ridiculous fluff.
This Bush-bot has always taken issue with POTUS's immigration positions. I see that Senator Lott voted correctly, but Cochrane did not. Lott is up for reelection and Cochrane is not. Telling.
I'll also alert some friends, whom I know I can count on to do likewise.
To be truthful, I am kinda out of the loop.
I've been babysitting a lot this week, and haven't been able to keep up with goings on.
It's been like a vacation from real life and, from the little I do know, and the little I've seen,
the timing couldn't have been better. ;o)
The Heritage Foundation's study is very troubling to me.
I did manage to hear Cheney on Rush earlier in the week.
It appeared to me that he didn't know what Rush was talking about when he brought up this study.
At best, the VEEP seemed, unusually for him, confused.
"It used to be about being Conservative, maybe Libertarian a bit, non-racist and no crass cursing or nudity of endless flame wars or stalking."
Hey! I vaguely remember that!
It seems that we were, mostly, civil with each other, too.
Or...was it all a dream? ;o)
Where are those people now? Why aren't the radio talk show hosts outraged about this (and I doubt it hardly gets mentioned tomorrow).
It appears the obsession over immigration has given the House the smokescreen it needed.
Thank you!
Why bother with the posters who are only trying to bait you? Ignore them. They're the type who must have the last word.
I can't understand why people don't get half as upset at the important stuff.
Sadly, there were a LOT of American citizens marching on May 1, 2006 and not just Hispanics.
One heck of a GOOD letter, CWO.
I salute you and will "pay it forward."
I will be interested to see how this issue is discussed at my family gathering at my brother's on Saturday. He is a unioin democrat; one of my sisters is a democrat, too. I have a niece living in Texas, and my son works with a lot of Hispanics. Should be an interresting evening...I will report on whether this issue comes up or not and what their opinions are. Since my brother still has an anti-Bush sticker on his truck, I am tempted to wear my pro-Bush t-shirt. However, since I am the eldest and in charge of family unity, I will refrain. LOL!
LOL.....I prefer actual, for real French mustard, produced nand sold by Maille. Will that do? :-)
Telling indeed.
Cochran is a nicer person though.
Who are going to replace them....I haven't kept up.
Yes...I know them already of course..lol
My pleasure! :-)
