This morning President and Mrs. Bush greeted Australian Prime Minister John Howard and his wife, Janette to the White House in an official South Lawn Arrival Ceremony as part of a state visit, followed by a meeting of the two leaders in the Oval Office, and a joint statement to the press in the East Room. There will be an official State Dinner at the White House this evening.
This afternoon President Bush congratulated the WNBA 2005 National Champion, Sacramento Monarchs at a ceremony in the East Garden of the White House, where he accepted a shirt and championship ring.

I made a hilarious video for Mother's Day with all of his ham pix and will mkae a Father's Day one with the pix from MOther's Day.
It only took a few seconds before he forgot about the bottle and pictures. Then he was back to his cheery self.

That being said let me now embarrass you with my adoration by proclaiming the ridiculous. The reason why the President doesn't respond to criticism is the drop in the President's poll numbers is advantageous to the GOP. The right fringe abandonment of Dubya ( yeah, like they ever supported him ) is giving the rats fuel to impeach. My tagline 4 months ago was "The rat 06 election platform will be a promise to impeach the President if they win." That is coming.
The base may not accept Dubya as a conservative but they will rally around him against the rats. I predict a good outcome in Nov, and at worst we will retain power.
I know...and I've missed being here. I took a trip with a group of FReepers and we didn't have much time to be on-line. It was an awesome trip and we had a blast. It was like we had known one another forever!
