Good to hear Mike.
I am sure you needed the rest to re-charege the batteries you have been so busy personally as well, you must have needed a rest after virtually doing 2 jobs for several weeks.

Thanks. I moved, unknowingly when I signed the lease, to the street where my mother was born in 1922. It is a blessing.

***Well!!! today C_span is replaying the April 20th Ceremony when Hu Jintao arrived back on April 20th, 2006.... Does anybody think this wasn't done on purpose ???***
GOOD! Maybe this nation will wake up and realize that much of our media is not just liberal, they are Communists.

Hi, Mike! You have been missed. I have also ben absent a lot, both because of getting yard work done and also because of the nut-cases here.
After having heard the President's speech last night, I am ready to go back into battle.

Don't you love the way the president looks at the First Lady as she welcomes the prime minister?

Thanks for adding the State Dinner photographs. CSPAN will not be airing this event, or the Reception on the south lawn this morning. Reruns of Senator Levin are much more important. /s

C_Span is run by Brian Lamb and he is no liberal, in the past three or so years I have seen a big shift in the way they cover things. I believe Brian Lamb is no longer as involved as he was, because for the most part, C_span was pretty fair and balanced in their coverage of the 2000 election, but that seemed to stop at the start of the Iraq War
