I disagree. First and foremost, is stopping the influx. He sounds committed to doing that. If we don't do that, nothing else will matter. That's why he emphasized it right out of the box.
And ANY guest worker program must be temporary. That too he said.
It was 75% positive and 25% negative, IMO.

Well after his amnesty with 50 to 100 million more immigrants, we wont need a guest worker program unless they will be working in our nonstop welfare office giving us taxpayers money away...

We supposedly did this to stop the influx under Reagan and the amount of illegals that came here since then increased over 500%.
Nothing about what Bush said will stop illegals.
He just buried himself further in the polls and probably just screwed the Republican party even more so.
I don't like it.
We need to let officers arrest illegals inland.
We need to be removing the illegals we find as we come across them and we should confiscate all their uninsured cars that clutter the roads.
No amnesty please, instead let the sh!t hose Mexico fix their own problems or ask for us to annex them into our country on our terms.

Yeah, with all the illegals and the under-the-table economy still going, and of course NO FINES for the employers, which of these employers is going to get rid of their illegals for $5 an hour and hire the Official Guest Workers at $10 an hour?
