I sailed twice in the San Diego to Acapulco yacht race, and at the end we always went out to drink beer at the bars in Accapulco and celebrate. The locals just loved us, and real Acapulco cliff divers would walk up and show you the little scars on their forearms from hitting rocks on the sea floor after their dives. We went to middle class bars, not the bar at the Hilton, and people were really friendly and wanted to talk to us and meet us. This was over twenty years ago, but I don't think people have changed much down there. The drug cartels are more brutal and ruthless, but the average Mexican is kind and decent.
To suggest the same fate that awaits Europe will afflict us is ludicrous on its face.
I am reminded tonight what somebody else just said about it being impossible to deport 12 million.
He/she typed..."Mexico did!"
