Monday, May 15, 2006 will be a day like no other in the history of the city. It will be the first skirmish in "The Battle of San Bernardino". The skirmish will be at the San Bernardino City Hall located at 300 N "D" Street. It will take place at 3:00 P.M.

I've seen Joe Turner interviewed on this. He really found a great way to force this issue through and seems to have b een battling the illegal immigration problem for quite some time now. A loophole and 2,000 signatures allowed him to force council to take action or to put it up for a vote within, I think, 60 days. I knew the heads of the Latino (la Raza & Aztlan) movement were ticked off, but this shows they have no intention of settling.
This just may be the first battle of their La Revolucion!
Did you also see that the "Surround the White House" date is set for Wednesday. I tried to make a thread out of it, but it is rejected because of the source.
