The Good Ship Fitzgerald is Listing
The American Thinker ^ | 5/14/06 | Clarice Feldman

While the media focuses on handwritten notations by the Vice President on a newspaper article, there is much more to be gleaned from late Friday’s court filings in the Libby case. The spin says that damaging new evidence has surfaced. But the filings by Fitzgerald reveal how rapidly his case is sinking.

Discovery in legal cases is rather like playing the old game “Battleship” where you can surmise from your opponent’s responses to your blind probes where he is hiding his fleet. So you can sink it. Scooter Libby’s legal team is playing the game masterfully and as the latest filings late Friday show, Fitzgerald’s fleet is taking on a lot of water. News articles as evidence

She wouldn't bet cause she knows she would LOSE. I get so angry with her sometimes. I can't reason with her at all.She leans so far to the left I'm surprised she can sit in a chair. Ugh!

Yeah I had a bunch of crap sent to me about it as well...how crushingly stupid is it to be a DU member today? They take every source from the friend of a friend of a friend who delivers mail for Karl Rove's neighbor and Rove looked really sad on Friday night so IT MUST BE TRUE!

I refuse to go to that site. All the information my sister gets is from there. How she stands it,I'll never know. One little rumor and they go ballistic. They are in so much glee over President Bush being down in the polls,it's pathetic. It's one big never ending party in that group because of all the negativity the GOP and the President is getting. I get tired of hearing about it from my sis. I love her,but she shouldn't rub it in my face like this.

I sure hope this thing goes to trial. I can't wait for the the media types to be on the witness stand. Libby's lawyers are going to rip them to shreds. Wilson and his wife will be exposed for the clowns that they are. The suicide watch will be on big time over at DU.

GWB is doing quite well at sinking himself. Note the open borders, runaway domestic spending, and the recent opposition to the "buy American" initiative for the military.

Your political capital is spent.

Then you'll love Gore or Kerry or Hillary..That's right, prove that you should get your way on everything by staying home. Here's a knife to cut off your nose.
It's a big country and no one, not even the President can satisfy his supporters in everything or even prevail on everything he wants.
Stay home..Let Conyers and Leahy decise the judges, Byrd to decide the funding for the war, bring back Albright and Beers and Berger..That's the ticket!

The more I get invitations to do so, the more I think I will stay home early in November.

Voting GOP has given me a tax cut and some (hopefully) decent conservative judges. Big Whoop!

Nine conservatives on the SC and eliminating the Income Tax will do no good if the rest of the country goes to pot due to unregulated immigration of non-assimilating people, runaway domestic spending subsidizing (largely) the most worthless people in our society, and a half hearted "war on terror" when the real problem is Islam, which no one wants to come out and say.

I helped elect Reagan, GHWB(once), GWB(twice), and worked to get Max Cleland out of the Senate......and I've about had it with the RINOs in charge of the GOP.

I totally agree. And what's more: I believe that AL quada has a moreless direct link to the DNC. Al quada is likely funding the DNC in return for use of their "talking points". Ya gotta wonder!

These rage-filled neoMarxists on the left don't give a damn about America, Americans, the troops, freedom, democracy, the Constitution or the rule of law. It's all about them regaining power.

I have thought for some time that Al quada and the dims were joined at the hip with the common goal to bring America to its knees.

Over my dead body will I be voting in any way to help the left this fall. I will vote for a freaking RINO in order to keep the leftists from reaching a majority again. God help us.

Well, of course, that's your choice. And if this is not idle talk, I hope you are prepared to live with that choice. I think it's the worst choice you can make, and will not join you in such destructive behavior.

This new "lawyer" fad of charging someone with a trumped up, bogus charge and then "getting" them for "perjury" and "obstrustion of justice" is getting REALLY old. Our so-called judicial system is definitely out of control. This crap needs to be looked at and fixed.

After dragging everybody through the mud for 2 or 3 years the charges will be dropped before they can be answered. Rumors will be circulated for years that the case was "covered up" by the white house.

Yes, I'll live with it. Neither of my Senators are up for election, the GOP gov. of this state is safe, and the US Reps are beyond my control due to racial gerrymandering.

It won't hurt much. I just hope someone at the GOP notices the falloff. Even though I didn't (and won't) invite you or anyone else to join my protest, I'm far from alone.

Got new for you fifi, they already are! Threats of Kerry and Clinton are as scary as McCain and Frist, and Mccain has done more to destroy the Constitution then Kerry and Clinton have!

Bush was wrong from the gitgo to allow the Justice Department to default to a special prosecutor in this case. If the Democrats are in power, Craig Livingstone can commit up toward a thousand felonies in the basement - and be punished only by being fired by nobody, since he was apparently hired by nobody.

If the Republicans are in power and allow a special prosecutor, then allofa sudden spitting on the sidewalk is a capital offense. The Administration should have just told the arrogant journalists that they do not get to pick the Attorney General, and that is that.
