Look for FNC to stupidly try and spin the federal marriage amendment as just trying to appeal to religious fundamentalists in the base.

They will lose this point....no one but the looney left and a portion of gays wish gay marriage. It really is a non-issue for a lot of liberals, and it is opposed by every mainstream religion and most conservatives.

In Europe (Holland I believe) where gay marriage is legal, only about 7% of gays even take advantage of it.

We have civil unions but not gay marriage despite what is said on FR.

I do not the percentage of gays that have gone through such a ceremony but I doubt that many.
