Excellent comment, not withstanding some who want to censor you. Though I doubt that is their intent, that is the result once they start having babies or need medical care. As you and I both know, as we live in border states, once an illegal gets over the border and past checkpoints 25-30 miles north of the border and into the interior, their chances of being caught are very slim. One exception is when the coyote transporting them gets stopped by police for a minor traffic infraction, or overloading causes a flat with tragic results as the van loses control.
I have two sisters and we all have similar relationship to what you described with yours...
However, neither of mine would send me the Oprah Magazine...because neither of them care much about what is going on in the world.
LOL
Hillary was out just weeks ago, giving a speech, saying that President Bush and the Republicans are "fear-mongering"....
THAT ought to tell you the direction the dems are taking re: the war on terror, the Iraq war, the immigration issue...
BUT, when the Dubai ports deal came up...WHOA---all of a sudden they CARED about the safety of Americans..
Until, now...and I heard the now, Schumer voted FOR an amendment that would have Dubai Ports inspect our cargo in foreign countries....LOL
As Vice President Cheney said to President Bush "oh yeah, big time!"
That is one I hope Tony decides to take head on the first time it is raised as a "failure by the Federal government." Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but they're not entitled to their own facts. Most of the "facts" pushed by the BDS types over Katrina are flat out lies. And when snarlin Arlen or some other weasel chimes in and agrees with them......
ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't get to watch Fox News much last week...but I heard that Judge Napalitano actually came out a blasted the White House for the NSA program of collecting phone numbers!!!
Think about this gang...he was a JUDGE----and he has some really, really lib reactions to stuff.
Think about how many judges are still working as judges that think like him....((((((shudder)))))))
My candidate for post of the day. This reality must be kept in front in of our politicans, though RAT politicans look at it as an opportunity to get/keep them in power. For us, it's about our way of life; for them it's a way to control government and dictate the way of life they think we should have.
See Johnnie...you get a certificate of excellence on THIS thread for your post...
However, if you posted that on 99% of the border threads you would have been called all kinds of nasty names...LOL
When I urged patience until W's speech on Monday, I got a freepmail calling me Cardinale. I guess that is spanish for cardinal. I thought it was a cheapshot. Im against amnesty, too!
When I heard about the speech tomorrow night about immigration...my first thought was that Tony recommended it.
One of Tony's biggest complaints about President Bush was his apparent reluctance to get in front of the American people more and explain his thoughts, instead of having partisan politicians and the MSM frame the message with THEIR slant.
You obviously have not been reading the Illegals threads then. I have been Speaking Truth to Whiners now for months. And your assesment of their response is spot on.
Do you think he'll run unopposed next time?
The biggest tragedy of Katrina, was how the MSM blamed a hurricane on a human. The fact is, out of control, socialist liberalism is 100% responsible for the failure to evacuate NO. They are so freakin socialist and entitlement minded, the governtment in LA and NOLA waited for the FEDGOV to fix it!
I have been on some border threads in the last week...and have gotten some REALLY nasty freepmails...
AND, they can't be because of my opinions on border control, because I have stated that if I could, I would go down and help build the darn fence!!!
I have also stated, that proof of citizenship or legality should be required by all hospitals or medical clinics unless the life of the person was at stake..
Therefore, I can only conclude that the HATE is because I have also admitted that I am still a Bush fan...or, Bushbot if they prefer.
Huh? That can't be! The MSM told me he was tougher than any of the repubs on immigration!
I have been trying to avoid those threads...but, I did venture into them when I heard about Bush's speech.
I didn't say you didn't post the same message on those threads, I just said you wouldn't get a "certificate of excellence" from the freepers on those threads...
You wouldn't would you?? I betcha you have gotten a LOT of hateful freepmails though...
Just listened to a short debate on this on FOX. Mother saying illegals are responsible for additional crime including molestation against a small girl and we must secure the border. Opponent (who looked like she just got up from bed after being ravished herself) argued the first mother was a member of a radical organization who was not caring towards innocents and that can't send babies who are American citizens (anchor babies) back. Got into a arguement with both shouting at once. Checked the weather channel for a minute until they switched topics.
Geeez more Mary Cheny flogging her "I am a homosexual" book.
Isn't this the only show she has been on. Plus, she is not one of the put it in your face types which I certainly appreciate it. It is not her fault that Kerry and the other guy put her "out" there. Again, I don't agree with her, but let's give her credit where due.
That includes people who are here right now, in alQuaeda cells, waiting to do us harm.
