"Obsession" is one of the most powerful, expertly crafted and undeniably important films I've seen this year. This courageous, utterly gripping expose' deserves the attention of every American -- and merits serious consideration for the Academy Award for Best Feature Length Documentary."

Cannes has been hijacked by a board of liberal artisans, including Quentin Tarrintino who is the lead, who decides what movies get played, and which ones win the awards.
I remember an interview with a french movie critic who sat on the board who said that Fahrenheit 911 was not the film he, and many others wanted to award, but Tarrentino and those with a political agenda who were the leads rammed it through. He said the decision was already made before anyone had even had a chance to see the movie.
Then hollywood gave Michael Moore an oscar as well and used his speech to go on a anti-Bush diatribe.
Sadly, there is no way this film will be shown in Cannes or be nominated for an academy award. The liberal artisans who rule these boards would never allow it.
Another movie to be banned in the Muslim world.
You are correct that this movie will not get any Raves at Cannes.
It is up to us to send the trailer to our friends and get the word out! We need to educate more individuals about the coming WAR.

BTTT - PROMOTE THIS MOVIE!
this film was reviewed tonite on H & C with its Director and one of the interviewees (an egyptian woman opposed to jihad). If they said when/where it is available, I missed it, as I didn't see the whole piece. The subtitled clips of the mullahs and little kids were chilling, and serve PERFECTLY to see that the "WOT" terminology as well as the "Religion of Peace" are wrong and inadequate/misleading.
Hopefully this film is about to go public at last. There is a little more on its website than there was back when this thread was originally posted.....

"It's time we recognized the nature of the conflict. It's total war and we are all involved. Nobody on our side is exempted because of age, gender, or handicap. The Islamofacists have stolen childhood from the world." [FReeper Retief]
This looks like it is going to be one awesome movie. How do we rise up and demand it is shown widely in America?
A grassroots campaign to write theater owners?
Some liberal movie theater owners may give feeble excuses why their cinema can not show this picture the public needs to view which exposes the jihadist enemy within as well.
bttt
Whoa! Thanks for the heads up. This looks like a very important film.
Scary stuff.
O.K. That's all I've got to say.
The Fifth column is living amongst us. Their hatred is incredible.
Nothing to add to that except - yup.
They may literally be the death of us. It is frightening.
