If I didn't know better, I'd almost think Time Warner's America Online does not like our twice-elected President, and that they want him to fail and the US to lose the war in Iraq.
But undoubtedly I'm imagining things.
And just to show it isn't personal, AOL also gives us front pages like this:
Maybe they think it's good for business:
Then again, maybe they'd rather push their agenda than make money.

It is not only AOL it seems everybody does. Even conservatives on Freerepublic. Some of it is warranted but most of it is not. There is a sense, in my opinion, that he will make a monumental comeback. Just a hunch. When he does all these now cliche posts that say "Jorge Bush" and "President Jorge" will be a thing of the past. Just like in sports there are band wagon jumpers in politics and this forum contains a plethora of them
Nothing against those kind of posts but it is getting as old as "I guess he won't be reelected in 2008"

"AOL isn't independent - they are part of Time Warner - I.e. CNN, Time etc..."
Yes, that is why I mentioned that they are owned by Time Warners in the first sentence and included a graph of Time Warner's stock performance as the last graphic.
But thanks for your help.

Me too...I dont cut and run, just hope he clarifies his message on a lot of things, and hopefully Tony Snow aids in that...

Well, I understand why people are fed up with the border situation. I am too. I wrote and called the President and told him to fix the borders first, then worry about the guest worker program. I think that is what he will do. The House plan already does that. Kennedy/McCain is hopefully dying the painful death it needs to. And the Prez now has a Freeper (Tony Snow) to advise him on this. So I'm cautiously optimistic.
Don't make the mistake of thinking that those of us who want the border sealed tight don't like mexicans. I'm part mexican, I want illegal immigration stopped. But I do not put the full blame on GWB for the bad situation we are now in. It was a long time in the making, and will take awhile to fix.
But I get frustrated with those who think that because of the border situation, nothing else matters. The border situation was just as bad if not worse in 2003 when these same people were cheering the Prez for taking it to Saddam and the terrorists.

Ever since Time-Warner took over AOL, it's editorial position became flagrantly liberal. The post 9-11 coverage was pathetic...the very day it happened they were inveighing against profiling...and how Islam was a religion of peace.

Gee, I learned today from reading an article about Patches Kennedy that he used to date a woman who was a senior exec at AOL.
And, that she used to be at the CIA.
Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm.

Sorry , I didn't realize this was your personal vanity - I mistakenly though i was commenting on a news article - I'll look more carefully at your posts in the future to make sure I don't make such mistakes. I apologize.

"Is Ted, the mouth of the south, Turner back?"
I don't know if he is back. I do know he looks as drunk all of the time as the other TED. AOL is desperate. My sister has a computer which offered AOL free for 90 day. She never ( I and I mean NEVER) used it opting for another service instead. She has been getting calls from AOL all Month trying to get her to resubscribe to something she never subscribed to in the first place. They are really condescending over the phone too.

Sorry that I pointed out that you hadn't bothered to read the article.
But I have to admit I never read your posts if I see your name first.
