Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Thursday that his letter to President George W. Bush did not concern the nuclear dossier, but rather was an invitation to Islam and the prophets culture.
He made the above remarks in reply to a reporter while attending press conference on his letter to President Bush in Jakarta in the afternoon of the third day of his stay in Jakarta.
Stressing that the letter was beyond the nuclear issue, the chief executive said that in principle, the country's nuclear case is not so significant to make him write a letter about it.

And I wonder what happens to one who refuses a muslims invitation to join Islam? As the religion of peace, I can probably guess......

President says his letter to President Bush was invitation to Islam
Come one now, if the President all of a sudden converted to that nutball way of life called "Islam" an awful lot of people here would probably go to the mat so fast for that decision they'd convert too.

??? This dude is nuts.

The invitation is the first step to war. If rejected they attack.

In other words, the whole world will be Islamic. It can be done the easy way or the hard way.
As another post pointed out it is a declaration of war on us.

Ahmadinejad is prepararing for war. The Koran says that you must first invite your enemies to embrace Islam. If they will not, you must then ask them to pay
jizya (protection money, tribute). If they will neither embrace islam nor pay
jizya then you may slaughter them.
Ahmadinejad is following the script precisely, and since he is a millenarian whackjob who believes the 12th imam is about to emerge.
To: jmc1969
He has just confirmed what we have been saying here. The MSM will fall back on Western logic and not highlight the Islamic-logic consequences for refusing the invitation.
It's blatant, it's now independently clarified, and it is a declaration of war via Islamic doctrine.
I sure hope the adults are in charge and not asleep at the switch. :(

Wow. That's pretty much what Laura Mansfield said he was doing with this letter and that this type of overture can be seen as a prelude to an attack. He's so arrogant that he doesn't even bother to hide the fact. I'd bet a months salary he's already nuclear armed to some degree.

This is indeed a declaration of war and emasculated wussies such as Matt Lauer see the letter as an overture. Give me a break. This reprobate and his ilk need to be dealt with swift and aggressive force

Bush should counter with an offer of a personal loan at 8% interest. This guy is off his nut.
