Well, these are good points and perhaps true. Yet, I am continually searching for answers to questions or accusations about this President's job performance. I WANT to support him, and I do, yet I am frustrated. Every day it seems to get worse.

I've been disappointed with some things the president has done, but that would be true of any Republican president. I'll never agree fully with any one person. It just hasn't happened yet and never will.

And, if we aren't safe nationally, all the domestic programs or vetoes in the world aren't worth spit. For the president's strength keeping the country safe and social conservatism alone, to change the tide of the culture in this country at least somewhat, he will have my support.

There isn't anyone else on the national scene who could do a better job, in my view. What really disappoints me is that Republicans in Congress have run away from the president and haven't given him any support whatsoever. He got a bunch of them elected and re-elected in the '04 election and they have run away from him and his agenda and that's simply outrageous.
