This is one of the reasons why his numbers are so low:

Conservative Disaffection

That AP-Ipsos poll wasn’t the only one showing warning signs about conservative discontent. USA Today/Gallup:

Bush’s fall is being fueled by erosion among support from conservatives and Republicans. In the poll, 52% of conservatives and 68% of Republicans approved of the job he is doing. Both are record lows among those groups.
(Hat tip: NRO)

Perhaps El Presidente will try to fix the problem by pushing even harder for the McKennedy amnesty. After all, everyone knows that the conservative base loves amnesty for illegal aliens!

"Conservative Disaffection "
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>................
Bush told us he was a compassionate conservative-he wanted guest workers-expanded DEPT ED, but I like many thought he would balance out these views and at least secure the border. And maybe a veto or two to reduce big spending in congress..he said he was for spending cuts but never did anything about it..in some ways I have grown to distrust him- His die-hard supporters here on FR will tell us he was honest about his policy but I feel mislead.

Even Rush was saying yesterday that he couldn't understand the Administration's recent actions/inactions/policies.

When the bots are questioning what's going on in the WH, the WH is in deep political trouble.
