No surprise there. Murdoch is first and foremost a businessman, and glad-handing Hillary makes doing business in New York easier.
I just looked over there and don't see this story at all.
Well he is in bed with the Chi-coms, so why not Hillary?

Everyone in business is either in bed with the Chi-Coms or the Indians in one way or another. Murdoch isn't an ideologue like Soros, which can be both good and bad.

The 'FOX' Murdoch?

Gonna take a whole lot of money to buy the "Hildabeast" a soul.
Murdoch also supported Al Gore's campaign. He paid several million to underwrite the Democratic Convention that year, and although he didn't make his conservative writers toe the line absolutely, he considerably changed the direction of the NY Post in 2000.
Then he switched over to Bush the day after the election. Funny more people didn't seem to notice or remember this.
His basic motivation, IMHO, was that clinton ruthlessly used the SEC and other regulatory agencies, plus political arm-twisting, to block Murdoch from buying a satellite system and also to keep Fox News out of some important cable markets, such as New York city. Presumably Murdoch knows that hillary would do the same thing if she gets into the White House and resents his attitude.
The clintons don't play around if someone crosses them.
As if Bill O'Reilly insulting the SwiftVets wasn't enough. As if the Saudis buying 7.5% of NewsCorp and censoring FoxNews coverage wasn't enough. Now we have Rupert backing Hillary. Do you have enough reasons to stop watching FoxNews Channel now?
He's out to make alot of money, and conservatives in the US have coincidently benefited from his business acumen.

I don't know, I kind of like the idea of Rupert "owning" Hillary.
