Too bad this teacher works in a district only concerned with what is good for the few.Unfortunately, given today's attitude, especially here in NM where Emperor Bill Richardson has directed state law enforcement not to ask the immigration status of those stopped by them, any mention of immigration status of a student by a teacher is politically incorrect.
Actually, IMO, it should not be the teacher doing the asking, but the school administration when a student is registered. But that won't happen either, except to give illegals special benefits, like in-state tuition at state colleges.
