You have to play it by ear, what is good for one person may not be suitable for another.

I have had Brinker on at times when the man was drunk as a skunk. Giddy and rambling!

No sorries....

I think the key part is the beginning of the very statement you used...

"Republicans have further wasted their majority status..."

He is holding them accountable. They have ALLOWED this game to drag on. They have wimped out and let us down over and over again.

having things on the table is not getting things done.

They have had PLENTY of time to get things done.

I submit to you to ask yourself a question. Have you ever known ANY one, once elected, to get MORE conservative?

seems to me.. they ALWAYS move left, and NEVER move right.

Once elected. Power is too enticing. BIG government is suddenly not such a bad idea once "you" become the government.

sad and scary truth.

Have you ever listened to Herman Cain?

Do you know his history?

he doesn't waste time with PC rhetoric or perfectly mastered diplomatic speak. He drives it home. Our Elected Representatives waste our time and our money...ENDLESSLY..they are a WASTE!

Their interists are self-serving. They only seek to serve themselves, not America as a whole.

No problem... I think I have a cure for what ails you.

May I make a recommendation?

Every prediction is hypothetical. I still believe the eventual presidential candidates are not known yet.

This is WAY too early to be guessing. Better to concentrate on the 2006 election and our retaining congressional control.

LOL! Just laugh.

and try focusing on healthy discussion more than tyring to be profound or wise when you post. You'd be surprised how many friends you WILL make.

Join us again next week, but don't "assume" that you have some magical insight that the rest of us lack.

Heck- your response to me was just smacking of someone who didn't even bother to digest what I said. My whole point was that we need to elect conservatives and stop supporting incumbents just because they have an R by their name.

then you proceeded to tell me that I assumed the problem was voters- but then your last statement just mimicked MY very point....that the only answer IS the VOTERS.....

talk about not knowing how to respond!

;-)

again- I hope you join us next week... but this time be sure to smile more!

Novak is business uber alles, but not anti-semitic or really anti-war, per se.

Buchannan is Buchannan uber alles and is more anti-not Buchannan than anything else. He's merely anti-semitic because they aren't pro-Buchannan. The man has an ego the size of Texas but the intellect the size of my little finger.

As always you are right. And as you know i am trying my best. It does get challenging however, the double standard always makes things tough. Rats continually getting passes for things we get massacred for.

In a way I do like R. Novak.

He is an old school journalist. What, when, where, confirming things several times, all the way, with sources he has known for years. That's hard to find these days.

.The problem is we try and stereotype these guys and some of them just won't fit any known molds.

Hey...I would try to draft Lynn Cheney for POTUS if I thought it would do any good...

I think she is probably anxious to go to the ranch in Wyoming with her sweet husband, ASAP!

Nancy Pelosi must have used the word "ethical" a half dozen times on MTP. I kept smiling as I remembered Bill Clinton promising he'd have the most ethical administration ever. Just laugh and remind people. After all the indictments during the Clinton years, comparisons to President Bush has to be the ultimate in political fantasy.

No, Ms. Pelosi, not everyone does it. President Bush has no need for an adviser for "bimbo eruptions." Nor can you make claims about how Clinton balanced the budget and reduced the deficit. The Republican congress did that, in case you forgot. Nor can you compare polls. Bill Clinton never had a singular poll because they kept dividing it in two. Remember that? Every poll included separation to distinguish between his personal life and his office.

No wonder voters are confused. Republicans have to do better in countering it all, but that's a better position to be in, IMHO.
