Watch for this to happen. The Democrats, therefore the MSM, can and will not be happy with any notice of success on the Medicare Drug Plan.Explaining exactly why Pelosi will get rid of it. Every last vestige of "Bushness" must be eradicated..

Thanks for your heads-up, Alas! Now I don't have any excuse for planting my begonias, and laying mulch down, this morning.
With the rain we've had in DFW over the past two days, it's still soggy. Unfortunately, there's no reason to watch this morning's shows.
One might say, "but you'll be missing Brit bitch-slapping Juan again". That's true, but Brit bitch-slaps Juan every Sunday.
Y'all have a great day. Last week another Freeper (who shall remain nameless) claimed that the shows weren't worth watching and they were going out into the garden instead to commune with nature. A couple hours later they let the secret out by posting an enraged comment about one of the shows. Turns out they had a portable TV out in the yard with them (but it was only black and white, so it didn't count). They were so busted! <G>
So, you wanna fess up now, or do we have to task a spy satellite to get us some pictures?

It's McCain's "Stop me before I kill again" defense.

***...they will be apoplectic when they lose again.***
I finally heard a commentator (Campbell Brown on NBC, I think) say that a large part of the drop in President Bush's poll ratings were due to unhappy Republicans! No kidding, MSM!
These unhappy Republicans are NOT going to vote in Pelosi and Reid to leadership of the House and Senate. Unhappy Republicans are signalling their Republican office holders to go on offence. We have six months for them to show that they get the message.

One of the best consequences of this new RX plan is that the drug companies have lowered their prices.
The plan has cost the government much less than anticipated.
I believe in the long run that preventive medicine will save the lives of millions and save Medicare millions of dollars too.

Question if the Republicans loose the house does that mean that Nancy Pelosi automatically becomes speaker. In our system the speaker does not necessarily have to be from the majority party as they can be a hold over from last government and stay in that position until they wish to retire.

It's McCain's "Stop me before I kill again" defense. With shades of "everybody does it". ;-)

Exceptionally tasty nuggets this morning, Anita.
The one from Norville's gonna leave a mark. Of course Rita Cosby isn't exactly shy about firing back. Could this devolve into a cat fight?

Russert is being a bit harsh on Mss Pelosi. She won't commit herself in saying that she would roll back the Bush tax cuts. Her ideas of fuel independence is a pipe dream. This is too much. She is committing herself to NO Deficit Spending( as she wags her finger at Timmy)

I'm sitting here wondering just when Arlen Specter became the most important man in the world.

people that know the Kennedy Clan personally, but not the People that get paid by them think of them as "White Trash". I knew this lady from Massachusetts who owned property on Cape Cod and her entire Family member's were well to do Builders in the Boston area. She has passed on,but told me some good stories about how loathsome the Family was. She said that when she was growing up the mantra from her Mom as well as other Moms was "Never get in a car with a Kennedy". She would have been about 90-92 years old now, and was around the same age as JFK clan. They never pay their bills on time, and they try to just have them forgiven, and a lot of their creditors reluctantly agree. It is no wonder that they kept a lot of their fortune even though they spend it on booze, drugs,Women.

Good morning Rod and everyone.
Rod - GREAT job last week - CONGRATULATIONS!!
After listening to the into on Meet the Depressed - I knew it would be even more difficult to listen today than I thought - - something like: The War in Iraq, high gas prices, immigration, doom, gloom, blah, blah ... the Bush admin blah, blah.
Then I'm catching bits and pieces of Bella Lugosi - - same old cr*pola - -Bush doesn't have a plan, war in Iraq is going bad, need to pull out, Dims have initiatives for energy independence in 10 years, blah, blah. She just said we have a *PLAN* and a timetable to accomplish.
Choices to be made in our budgets - when Dims take over Congress - - national security issues, economic issue, envirnomental issue. Yes, Nancy, choices need to be made - - quit putting so much PORK IN THE BUDGET and their wouldn't be so much of a deficeit.
She just said the Dims vow for no deficeit spending - - pay as you go (even if raise taxes).
This do-nothing, rubber stamp for Pres Bush congress. Tim:
is impeachment off the table? NP: You never know where an investigation will take you.
Gads she is such a LYING WITCH!
