And of course the WOT is just a minor issue right? I mean it's not like the struggle to defend western civilization can be expected carry weight in deciding the votes of conservatives.
These "conservatives abandoning Bush" amaze me. Presumably, many of them are among those who ridiculed us Forbes supporters in the 2000 primary season. Would they now have us believe they were too dumb to know what "compassionate conservative" meant? And of course, the Democrats will fight the WOT much more effectively when they get power, right?
Increasingly I'm thinking the West is doomed to be under Sharia law within the next generation. And these "conservatives abandoning Bush" will be just as responsible for that as the most lunatic denizen of the fever swamp left. But that's okay, as long as Bush is punished for the "No Child Left Behind Act."
I suppose in the future we will see bumper stickers reading "Don't blame ME for Hillarycare, liberals on the SCOTUS, tax hikes, a WOT on the cheap, Kyoto 2--I voted against Bush, not for the Dems!" from every fool who thinks it matters HOW the Dems get back in power, not that they WILL get back into power.
I don't need you lecturing me about the importance of the WOT. Anyone who has seen my posts on FR knows exactly where I stand on that issue.
I can't imagine how anyone could think we will be able to continue to prosecute 2 wars at the same time on the other side of the globe while continuing to spend on education

I refuse to 'punish' Bush and the Rino's by leaving the Dems run the show and us into the ground. NO way No how! I'll hold my nose and vote them back in...then do MY JOB of emailing, calling and pressuring them to do the RIGHT thing. Or support real conservatives when they run.
