I was at church this Sunday and there was a college student who told me she wasn't seeing united 93 because she wasn't sure people were "ready". Recognizing her as someone who has been indoctrinated by liberal dogma, I pressed her further.
She told me, "we need to stop worrying about Iraq and start spending time at home figuring how to make people's lives better."
That's Carville's line right there, and no one's put it in her. One of the great gift of successful people is to see a wave before it comes and capitalize on it and make it their own.

As for Hatellary Rodhamster, if there is an overwhelming Republican majority in the House and Senate, I'm beginning to think it would be a good thing to have such a sickening lying liberal democrat in the WhiteWhore House (and that's what her degenerate hubby will make it again when she moves into OUR White House). Apparently the only way Pubbies will get the message that the conservative base should not be taken for granted is for us to stay home and allow the degenerate, demonically driven democrats to retake the White House; with a Republican majority in House and Senate the fool Republicans will turn to appealing to their base when confronting the Devious Queen of Liberalism.

I always figured Hillary Clinton entering a church would cause some sort of metaphysical rip in the universe ... or at least something really creepy like out of one of the "Omen" movies.
Thus in 1984 and 1988 the voters knew things were pretty good. They voted for the status quo... things were good .. don;t change things.
But by 1992 things, especially the economy, were not so good. So they voted for the candidate that promised change. They wanted the economy fixed. Bush 41 knew things were soon going to be great and proposed no change. It cost him the election. Clinton said its the economy stupid and won.
The economy was good when HIllary care hit congress and the people rejected it. Why? Things are good don't change anything was the public reaction. Clinton wised up by 1996 and did not propose change. From 1996 until 2000 Clinton did nothing (except Monica) and did it better than anybody.
The stupid thing for Gore was he proposed change. He wanted to go green green green and promoted earth in the balance. If he had run on "I can do nothing better than Clinton." he would have won.
By 2008 there will not be a lot of problems on the table. Today the Democrats are trying to work up problems so they can be elected to fix them. However, they don't propose ways to fix them.. they just try to hype problems.
That does not work. If the Democrats scream problems but offer no way to fix them and Republicans do.. then Republicans win. In 1936 the economy was no better than the disaster it was in 1932. The Republicans pointed out the problems but offered no solutions. The Democrats offered more of the fix that had not yet worked. But they were the only ones offering a fix.. so they won.
Over and over again in our history it has proven to be true that when times are good offer to do nothing.. when times are not good offer a plan to fix the times or fix the threat to our security.
That is about all there is to winning elections for president. But men like Carvile rarely figure it out.
