There will be two theories and we will probably never know which one is correct: THEORY 1: Moussaoui really wanted to die the martyr and the jury didn't want to give him the satisfaction. THEORY 2: The brilliant lawyers and/or Moussaoui realized that the jury could be convinced of the truth of THEORY 1 and that they could save his life by letting him "make a fool of himself" pleading, in effect, for a death that would be denied him. Unless the lawyers reveal their strategy which is highly unlikely in my opinion then only Moussaoui will know the truth. OTOH, the lawyers could state that they did not have any such strategy. That is possible if not likely. But it won't answer the question of Moussaoui's real motives. We will never know what they were unless the lawyers confess to spoofing the jury. Not likely.

FACT 1: Nine of these jurors were gullible dumbasses who partially excused his behavior by rationalizing that his dad was mean and he had a tough childhood.

This is another OJ jury, plain and simple.

I have some sympathy for the OJ jury. The Nation of Islam thugs were sent into that courtroom for the purpose of intimadating those jurors. They got the message.

There was NO excuse at all for these jurors.
