I do not deny at all that there was a period of Muslim expansion which led the Moors to the gates of Vienna, just like there was Christian expansion (with the Roman Empire) to the same area of the Mediterranean and as far as India. And I am aware of the Barbary pirates heritage and Muslim lineage. HOWEVER: not ALL Muslims want to kill us; any more than all Christians want to kill Muslims. I AGREE with you about the Islamo-Fascists--we must give and will get no quarter from them. However, any situation which compels us to kill 1.3 billion people cannot be a viable option. I believe that by killing the Active Enemy, the Islamo-Fascists, that will result in the defeat of what one might call 'jihadic Islam'.

And today's media would have focused on the destruction caused by the bomb, accusing us of genocide and human rights abuse. They struggling to see the forest through the trees.

I'm fine Lee...and I agree with you. Our culture doesn't need to be apologized for.
European culture led the world out of savagery.

There is no question there would have been a lot more destruction without the bomb. It's why we have to hold the nuclear sword over Iran ...

Thank G-d we aren't like them.
We don't cut off heads, deny women the right to medical care, or an education, etc. and we don't murder women who have been raped.

Full scale war was not required in Iraq as their leaders chose to run and hide untill we bagged & tagged them.
Unleash all hell on our enemies...in Iran, Syria, North Korea. Otherwise they will wait until we can't and strike us.

And not only that, if you fly a US fighter jet and land on an aircraft carrier you are required to wear a flight suit. He earned that right when he flew interceptors for the National Guard anyway.

The Roman expansions were a considerable time before islam.
I said they all want us dead, not that all would kill us.
I specifically said we don't have to kill them all. Just enough that the remainder would see the errors of their ways.
But I wouldn't shed one tear if we did kill them all.
