We are only one of two countries that does not acknowledge it but this is taking place in our country as we speak

Not me. As a kid I remmember, vaguely, dropping flowers on people's porches and the like.

The communist association I found out about as a young adult. I thought that was stupid. On May Day one is supposed to give people flowers. It's about May Flowers and stuff like that, spring, flowers.
