So it's sort of like a, "We're going to pretend that this is the Middle Ages so we can hit each other with broomsticks" kind of thing?

I thought maybe they studied philosophy and sang trouvere songs........

So you think John Kerry was one of these 'reenactors?'.............nah........he's not brave enough to joust. ;)

We do other things, too. LOL! Actually, even though they hit each other with sticks, I know a lot of people who actually put some study into the real weaponry. I have been learning fencing and costuming. Pretty much, if it has something to do with the Middle Ages (except getting the plague), we do it. It's like re-enacting the Middle Ages, with a few modern conveniences. LOL! It is fun, though, and gets the children to study more history.
