And how do you 'reenact the Middle Ages?

True story - my freshman year in college, I was heading to the dorm one day and walked by the basketball court. There I saw two people, wearing homemade armor, beating the heck out of each other with broomsticks. I knew I wasn't in Kansas anymore.

Later, I found out it was just some "SCA" thing. As I recall, it stands for "Society for Creative Anachronism". Those people were strange, but they're probably running the country now.

So it's sort of like a, "We're going to pretend that this is the Middle Ages so we can hit each other with broomsticks" kind of thing?

I thought maybe they studied philosophy and sang trouvere songs........

So you think John Kerry was one of these 'reenactors?'.............nah........he's not brave enough to joust. ;)
