Biz Owners to Illegals: Beware the "Immigration Gestapo"
My Way News ^ | Apr 29, 9:00 AM | LAURA WIDES-MUNOZ

Posted on 04/29/2006 2:56:00 PM PDT by DesScorp

My Way News reports of widespread fears among illegal immigrants that massive random busts are on the way, prompting many illegals to stay home. The resulting outcry from business owners that use illegal labor has been loud. From the article:

"Everybody's edgy," said Chris Ruske, owner of a southern New Jersey nursery. "There's an awful lot of rhetoric, and you wonder what's true. You wonder if the immigration Gestapo are coming to get you."

Precisely, if "bad things" start happening to their "contributors" (after being turned in by their constituents) perhaps they will rapidly "decide" on "how they feel about illegals"!!!

They have to FORCED off the fence.

TYSON is CLOSING on Monday!! TYSON

Snip: Tyson related headlines concerning illegal aliens:

Tyson Execs Charged in Smuggling Illegal Aliens

Tyson Busted for Exploiting Illegal Immigrants in Poultry Factories

Meatpackers' Profits Hinge on Pool of Immigrant Labor

Cargill info on illegal aliens

One illegal alien, “Ivan Hernandez,” claimed that 40% of the Cargill plant workers are in America illegally.

Cargill meat packing is on the list of companies that hire illegal aliens.

These two companies are on my permanent list of companies from whom I will buy NOTHING.

Cheaper labor does not translate into lower prices.
Competition translates into lower prices.
We have the big 3 automakers.
The big 3 poultry processers.
The big 3 cereal companys.
The big 3 seed companys.
The big 3 oil companys.
and so on.

All the competition has been squashed or bought out. These companys can do business however they wish because they have been enabled by our government to take over the market share of their respective products.
Government caters to big business because it brings them big bucks in tax revenue and campaign contributions.
Congress will not bite the hand that feeds (keeps them in office) them. This is why illegal immigration has flourished and they have become so brazen.

The people will have to take matters into their own hands.
Government is hopeless as a problem solver.

Biz Owners:

There wouldn't be an immigration "gestapo" if you weren't importing invader/squatters.

Just another reason to hate Tyson.Their unwavering support of Billy was enough for me to never buy Tyson products.

It would be a great service, I think, if a Freeper could post a comprehensive list of national employers like Tyson, Cargill using, or suspected of using, Mexican nationals.
I plan to go a Mexican restaurant Monday that I haven't been to since this all started. If they're `short-handed' after taking my table I'm getting up and walking out.
Boycotts are `two-way street'.

"It appears that a huge part of the problem is businesses that knowingly use illegals, and in their arrogance, they're complaining about the pressure"

Why aren't the owners of the company's cited and arrested for hiring illegals at the same time the illegals are busted? Is it a felony or a misdemeanor, Paying less than minimum wage, is that Grand Theft, a felony, over $200 I believe is Grand Theft. Not collecting social security tax, retirement, Federal Income Tax....

How about harboring fugitives??? Is that a felony? What's the problem??? Not enough jails?? Employers and illegals together in jail. What a site. No Bail for aiding and abetting Terrorist behavior. Illegals threatening US citizens is Terrorist behavior, smuggling humans, drugs for prostitutes.

Ping.

Len Mills, executive vice president of Associated General Contractors of South Florida, estimated at least 50 percent of workers on construction jobs in the region had not shown up for work.

"This is costing millions of dollars a day, and I don't know who is going to pay for it," he said.

***perhaps they will rapidly "decide" on "how they feel about illegals"!!!***

How they feel about protecting American sovereignty and their constituents evidentally not a factor for those politicians. How we feel about retaining them as politicians for the long run, definitely a factor.

".......suspected of using, Mexican nationals......."

I like that title " Mexican Nationals" sounds better than UNDOCUMENTED. Mexican citizens is another one, but not Undocumented, sounds like they belong here. Could call them REFUGEES if Fox encouraging them to stay in US and Pres Bush encouraging them to stay. What are the perks for MEXICAN REFUGEES.

... and now our police officers.

Hey, they have no respect for the law, so why would they respect law enforcement officers?

Jail and per man/day fines for CEOs and personnel clerks.

Build the wall, a real one.

Add the "Virtual Wall" goodies to the real wall.

Jail for welfare clerks and supervisors who sign up illegals for taxpaid services.

No government business in any language but English.

Hospital services available for childbirth- new mothers to be given option of taking their new citizen babies with them when they are (immediately) deported or leaving them for anonymous adoption out.

Enforce the law.

Enforce the law.

ENFORCE THE LAW!

I think we all realize that there's going to be some pain involved in closing off the illegal labor supply to those who've come to depend on it.

And in turn, that's going to affect the consumer. Folks on our side of the debate should have come to terms with that tradeoff by now. Looks like the other side hasn't!

Wonder if any of those illegals are scared enough to leave yet? Nope, didn't think so. Keep the pressure on! Enough pressure and we the citizens of this country can cause a stampede for the border. Screw the government, they won't do anything.
