No matter how disillusioned many of us are with Bush's incompetent handling of the media, his feckless surrender on the border issue, etc, we have to remember that he's not running, and our congresscritters are. And the back alleys are full of vicious hungry 'rats.

Sounds like you've got the Repub election strategery all figured out. Just talk about guns, God and gays...maybe dangle the flag burning amendment again.... and ta-da squeak by again. People are NOT going to fall for "guns,God and gays" this time. Its not going to work any more.
