I guess that it would be just beyond your bent towards clear communications to provide a link to an event you describe. And none of us are to suppose that in some way the validictorian was related to ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. A congressman just got a wild hair because of a surname. Sure

Please exCuse me it was an honors student, but tancredo(former public school teacher) couldn't wait to jump on the publicity bandwagon.

JMO, tancredo is like the liberals only the flip side of the same coin, with his knee jerkedness(ala chuckie schumer and his jihad against the oil companies).

Tancredo blasted for demand to deport

Very Good! That was informative.

We can ignore validictorian vs. honors student that's precisely the kind of irrelevancy that your public school vs. private school arguement was.

So Congressman Tancredo was focussing on an illegal immigrant and making a point, as political leaders sometimes do, about enforcing our LAWS. I imagine as we enforce our laws about immigration there will be lots of people like this young student that we like and admire that are here illegally. On a personal level this is sad, but on the level of our national laws, this is how law enforcement is supposed to work.

And as I posted previously, his stance reflects somewhere between 65 and 80 percent of the US citizenry's opinions. Is that how you define knee jerkedness?
