Novak. That said, there are those, even on this site, who would never vote for a member of the LDS church for President. Occasionally, there is some pretty nasty stuff said about the Mormons here, sad to say.
Romney himself points out that Mormons are just like any other Christian.

To my mind, all religions are initially based on personality. You have a question, you go see the Prophet, and he dispenses wisdom. After the Prophet is no longer available (through death, translation, or miraculous removal) the remaining followers develop a theology to fill in the gaps in the Prophet's teachings. If there is an excess of piety, the followers add a little common sense to permit self defense. If there is an excess of violence, the followers add some piety and kindness. If there is excess fornication, the followers develop a few exceptions. Some have even made the Gospels a gift of some grammar.
We have the same problem with some people in Arizona. Which is why we ended up with a Clinton clone as our governor.
That unfortunately is one of the reasons Matt Salmon lost to El Napo for governor of AZ 4 years ago.
