If she's willing to keep an open mind, you ought to recommend Richard Miniter's book, Losing Bin Laden to her. The killer part is .. when she talks about other issues .. she sounds very conservative
But get on the subject of Republicans or President Bush and her brain cells go out the window and she's a flaming liberal with not an ounce of common sense

Win her over, step by step. guide her into libertarianism(not the pot head version) and once she realizes they are ineffective, introduce her to Republicanism...it worked on my wife.
