didn't get back last night but thanks for your morning comments/check in.
I believe my real interest now in fantasy / sci fi type movies is due to the interest I had in a child. I recall my dad read to me every night (until I was old enough to read myself). I also listened to the old fashioned records.
I was like the other children in 50's who grew up watching the "new contraption" TV & Walt Disney. Of the various "lands" each week that was featured, my fav was always fantasy land.
I recall going with dad or dad taking me & friends to the Walt Disney feature films.. and was with dad & was really afraid but transfixed & drawn to Forbidden Planet.
So thank you for indulging my love for & interest in Fairies here at the Finest. We each present things that are dear to us in one way or another.

I must admit I was never much into fantasy things but always liked the pretty fairy pictures as a child and although I knew that did not exist stories of fairies at the bottom of the garden.
I loved the tooth fairy concept even though I knew it was mum or nan who would put the money under my pillow and remove the tooth.
And also Christmas would not be the same without the fairy on the tree and the various fairies in the pantomimes.
