,I>I suppose it's possible that he needed cash for the cabbie to take him back to his dorm, but it says that he walked back to his dorm.
You think they don't have ATMs on campus near dorms?

Uh, maybe so he'd have money for the next day!

Both Peach and Howlin have the timelines. The stripper was in a drunken stupor, there's any number of reasons why it could have taken that long to get to the Kroger.

Why were these guys having a party on a Monday night? Maybe it was spring break and the guys thought the safe rides were not operating.

If he has a true alibi, why was he arrested? Maybe the police should be looking for two rednecks in a white pickup?

I believe they were taken from cell phones with the capacity to take photos. I'm not sure, but I suspect, cell phone times are inherent to the technology, not the user's preferences.

The call from the Kroger came about 12:53am. There is no way that it would take 10 ten minutes to get that Kroger on an early Tuesday morning.Do you mean it wouldn't take that long to get there? I assume we're talking about the Kroger on Hillsborough Road, and if so I'd have to disagree: 10 minutes is not at all unreasonable to get from the far side of East Campus over to that Kroger.

I created an early automated ATM system. Every night at 2:30 A.M. we would take the system down to run our daily jobs.
One day I received a copy of a letter to the president of the bank. It was from an irate business lady who said that the lack of ATM's working late at night was impacting her business.

I don't get the whole idea of a stealing a car for a "joy ride", but I do know that if I were to go to the trouble and risk of stealing a car for such a thing, it wouldn't be a cab.

>>This also makes me wonder about the people on the grand jury.
They didn't get to see all the evidence, only what DA Nifong wanted them to see, with only his interpretation of it.

The Police did not arrest them, the DA called for a Gran Jury. Why? Because he didn't want to take the blame for putting these guys on trail.

I have the timeline for when the strippers were in the house; I don't have one regarding the phone call(s) from Kroger; sorry. I did think the first call was made after 1:00 though.
