You gotta be kidding me! Where were the Rolling Stoned editors during the Carter Presidency?
To: WestVirginiaRebel
I haven`t seen a Rolling Stone in ages.Do they accept rap as some form of music?
If they do than I guess why should anyone care what they think about politics.

While I agree that Posterity will show that Bush is no Reagan, and I'd like to hand him his ass over a few issues ('guest' invader program, etc.),
He'll be regarded as better than Reagan by those who matter.
Who was it that granted Amnesty to illegals back in '86?
Who was it that cut and ran from Beirut?
Who was it that raised taxes?
Who was it that ratcheted up the insane War on (some) Drugs?
Who was it that let employers force you to pee on demand?
I liked Reagan, but he made mistakes, too. Some really bad mistakes.
The best way to judge the effectiveness of any Republican President is to ask the question: "How much do liberals hate him?"
Nixon and Reagan are slugging it out for second place.

I use to think it was carter, then Clinton, but lately I have come to the conclusion (influenced strongly by the book FDR's Folly) that the worse President in history was FDR, during his first two terms.
His gross negligence regarding the economy and his status as President were salvaged only by War.

"The worst President in History would be Jimmy Carter."
Absolutely. Beyond a doubt. Under his economy Americans really did work for peanuts.

There's no connecting beam for the "H" in "Bush." Looks like "II" instead of "H."
Something subliminal? Not sure.

And I suppose Al "salami" gore was the greatest President not selected.
To: jdm
good catch. Might just be the graphic, but somehow I doubt it. Also, Pearl Jam is right up there..If you recall, not too long ago Eddie Veder (sp?) while on tour had head size pictures of the Presidents portrait and he was stompping on it on stage..This rag knows exactly what it is doing. Keeping circulation going by feeding the hate of the leftist idiots.
