I know this will inconvenience a few people, but I believe it is better to have one event rather than diffusing our efforts.
I'll still be there on the Mall on Sunday to explain things to those who don't get the word.
We'll be contacting those who offered to help to return their contributions. No vendor contracts have been signed so there's no issue of deposits.
Again, I apologize, but I am glad to stand aside (and with) the 9/11 Families for a Secure America.
I'll ping and respond to those who committed to attend on Sunday when I get home tonight.

Report?
Believe it or not, we were there. Unfortunately, we arrived a bit after 11:00, just in time to see people breaking down tables in the park. We were so disappointed. (We live in Kent County now, and Bridge traffic slowed us down. Plus the husband broke his hip in December, so he is not up to his usual stride yet. The walking that we did just to get from the parking lot to the Metro and from the Metro stop to the park really took a lot out of him.) Oh, well, we enjoyed a pleasant half-hour or so on a park bench.
