Not that long ago, it was the right that was angry and the left that was, at least comparatively, polite.

Mr. Finkel must live in an alternate universe. There are a lot of words I would use to describe liberals, but "polite" is certainly not one of them.

Mr. Finkle seems to have a short memory span. The left's in-your-face rage didn't start with Bush. Recall their obscene antics during Vietnam. But this latest iteration began with the GOP victory in the 1994 elections.

Harken back to late 1994: Newt was giving his first speech after Republicans had taken over the House. As he started speaking a bunch of loud protesters from ACORN burst into the room, yelling and marching until he had to abandon the podium. (ACORN is---was?---some federally funded homeless advocacy group. They bused people in for this "event".).

Since then we've seen Code Pink sneaking into the GOP convention and interupting Bush's acceptance speech. Or when Dem staffers gave Code Pink passes to the inaugural sitting right in front of the president. Again they stood on their chairs and disrupted his speech.

Polite? Such antics used to be beyond my imagining. It's inconceivable people would behave that way---in public!.

Don't call them "The Angry Left". Call them "Sore Losers"...or, better yet...

"SORE LOSERMANS"!
