what had you sacrificed for Lent? One of my students gave up cookies for Lent.
One year close friends and Mr. D. and I gave up all meat for lent. Friends were singing at easter vigil mass as we babysat their kids and grandmother. After mass they returned to our house where I had prepared bbq'd ribs, chicken AND prime rib. We were true gluttons!
